Master's Study in Applied and Computational Mathematics

applied mathematics + computation + business fundamentals

The applied and computational mathematics specialty of the Master of Science in Applied and Computational Mathematics and Statistics trains students in the mathematical modeling of a wide range of complex phenomena from biology, engineering, and climatology.   Students will be trained in scientific computing and numerical analysis, and learn to apply these skills in a high performance computing environment to analyze, visualize, and simulate complex physical systems.  Short module length courses in business fundamentals will prepare graduates to tailor their analyses for maximum impact on their business.
