Current Research

Dr. Delaney's current research is in the application of statistics to problems in finance, in particular, quantitative risk management. In this area, he is interested in the modeling of heavy-tailed phenomena, jump processes, and nonlinear dependence. In addition, Dr. Delaney has worked as a statistical consultant on engineering projects, assisting in the design of efficient experiments as well as the subsequent data analysis and visualization of data.
