Michael A. Walters
Michael A. Walters is a professional actuary, a Fellow and past president of the Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS). He has a Masters Degree in Mathematics from the University of Notre Dame.
He has written three CAS Proceedings Papers that were on the CAS exam syllabus on: risk classification, homeowners ratemaking and catastrophe risk.
He retired as a senior partner of Tillinghast-Towers Perrin (now Willis Towers Watson), the largest independent actuarial and benefits consulting firm in the world.
Previously he was senior vice president and chief actuary at Insurance Services Office, the nation's leading property/casualty insurance ratemankg and statistical organization.
