Faculty and students in the Department of Applied and Computational Mathematics and Statistics (ACMS) collaborate on research projects ranging from blood tests for colon cancer and modeling bruising to numerical algorithms for real algebraic computations. This research is enhanced by state of the art computational facilities and research centers.

In addition, ACMS offers research fellowships for graduate and undergraduate students.
