Carter Angell, FSA, EA, MAAA
Nyhart
Carter leads the Defined Benefit Department in Nyhart's Indianapolis office, primarily consulting with clients on their defined benefit plans, including pension plan administration, valuation review, and presenting annual results. As a leader, Carter is also involved with hiring new staff, workflow management, and revenue review. Carter has been with Nyhart since graduating from Notre Dame with a bachelor's degree in mathematics. Carter is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, an Enrolled Actuary, and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries. 

Chris Michalski, FSA
Willis Towers Watson
Chris is a 2012 graduate of the College of Science with a degree in Mathematics and a supplemental major in Computer Applications. He has five years of pension actuarial experience with Willis Towers Watson. Working primarily on consulting and delivery, his work focuses on defined benefit plans for Fortune 1000 private employers. Currently, he is working out of the Chicago office with clients mostly in the greater Chicagoland area, but he has the opportunity to work with clients spanning the Midwest. Chris enjoys sports of many kinds and supports teams from his hometown of Ohio as well as everything Notre Dame. 

Dan Froehlich, ASA, MAAA
Fidelity Investments
Dan is a Senior Associate Actuary in the Chicago office of Fidelity Benefits Consulting. His work includes consulting retirement plan sponsors on the following topics: actuarial valuation of defined benefit and retiree medical plan liabilities for minimum funding and US GAAP disclosures, compliance and cost projection analysis of both defined benefit and defined contribution plans, pension de-risking analysis and consulting, and strategic consulting on retirement benefit program design. He is an Associate of the Society of Actuaries, a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries, and graduated from the University of Minnesota with Bachelor's of Science degrees in Economics and Mathematics.

James Koci
Aon Hewitt
James is an actuarial student working in the Retirement and Investment division of Aon Hewitt in Chicago, IL. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame in May 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in physics and minor in actuarial science. As an actuarial student, he works on pension and OPEB plans, performing valuations and analysis for large clients in the insurance and manufacturing industries. He is currently pursuing his ASA.
