Carla Hall is an actuary on hiatus. She worked for 15 years for Principal Financial Group, based in Des Moines, Iowa, and has more than 10 years of international experience, primarily with Latin America and Asia. As a specialist in international risk and capital management, her responsibilities include risk quantification and long-term scenario analysis, developing internal risk management policies and practices, and advising on capital management for international businesses. She holds a bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Chemistry from Culver-Stockton College. She is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA), Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst (CERA), Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA), and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
