Junoesque Hsiao
Fidelity Investments

Junoesque Hsiao is an Associate Actuary working in the Benefits Consulting sector at Fidelity Investments in Chicago, IL. Her work includes consulting retirement plan sponsors on the following topics: actuarial valuation of defined benefit and OPEB plans; compliance and cost projection analysis of both defined benefit and defined contribution plans; strategic consulting on retirement readiness and subsequent plan design. She is currently pursuing her ASA and graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science.

Carter Angell, FSA, EA, MAAA
Nyhart Carter

Angell leads the Defined Benefit Department in Nyhart’s Indianapolis office, primarily consulting with clients on their defined benefit plans, including pension plan administration, valuation review, and presenting annual results. As a leader, Carter is also involved with hiring new staff, workflow management, and revenue review. Carter has been with Nyhart since graduating from Notre Dame with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics. Carter is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, an Enrolled Actuary, and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.

Chris Michalski, FSA
Willis Towers Watson

Chris Michalski is a 2012 graduate of the College of Science with a degree in Mathematics and a supplemental major in Computer Applications. He has five years of pension actuarial experience with Willis Towers Watson. Working primarily on consulting and delivery, his work focuses on defined benefit plans for Fortune 1000 private employers. Currently, he is working out of the Chicago office with clients mostly in the greater Chicagoland area, but he has the opportunity to work with clients spanning the Midwest. Chris enjoys sports of many kinds and supports teams from his hometown of Ohio as well as everything Notre Dame.

Joshua Spencer
ACAS, ASA, MAAA, CERA, CPCU

Josh Spencer joined Brotherhood Mutual in 2014 and held the position of Senior Actuary prior to being promoted into his current role in 2015. Prior to coming to Brotherhood Mutual, he worked for Towers Watson’s Risk Consulting and Software practice. Josh holds a degree in actuarial science, finance, and insurance from Ball State University. He earned his Associateship in the Society of Actuaries and his certification as a Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst in 2013. In 2014, he earned his Associateship in the Casualty Actuarial Society and in 2016 he completed his CPCU designation. He currently serves on the Ball State Actuarial Science Advisory Board. Josh also serves on the boards of NeighborLink, a nonprofit focused on neighbor-to-neighbor expressions of God’s love, and The Summit, a shared campus of socially-minded organizations.

Joaquin Camara
Aon

Joaquin Camara is an actuarial specialist with Aon’s Health & Benefits practice. He first interned with Aon Health & Benefits in the summer of 2017 before returning full time in July 2018. His work includes assisting clients with pricing, IBNP reserving, risk and experience studies, and plan design impact analysis for employer health plans. Additional work includes request for proposal comparisons, creditable coverage and ACA compliance testing, and various actuarial requests. Joaquin graduated from the University of Notre Dame in May of 2018 with a BBA in Finance and is currently pursuing his ASA./p>
