Creating a Cutting Edge Calc Sequence (and keeping it that way)
The Department of Applied and Computational Mathematics and Statistics is developing a new calculus sequence that more closely aligns with the department’s name. In this talk I will be introducing my vision for the sequence including: integrating a computer algebra system into classes and homework, managing hybrid/off-campus scenarios, and keeping the curriculum fresh.
