BLUETOOTH AND BEYOND: Building global technology standards

Wingren will discuss his work in building two global technology standards (i) Bluetooth, and (ii) Biocentric Lighting, and will cover the importance of IP development, macro technology trends, and entrepreneurial spirit.

Bio: Wingren is a Swedish inventor, entrepreneur, and scientist holding 28 patents related to wireless communication, technology, and the implications of light on the body. Educated at Lund University, Mr. Wingren is recognized as the developer of Bluetooth during his tenure at Ericsson Mobile Communications and is currently the founder and a strategic advisor to BrainLit.
