Guoxiang (Grayson) Tong is the recipient of the inaugural Outstanding PhD Research Award. With his advisor, Associate Professor Daniele Schiavazzi, Grayson is working on data-driven machine learning methods, uncertainty quantification, inverse problems, and identifiability analysis of physics-based models, with a special focus on cardiovascular systems.  

The Outstanding PhD Research Award is awarded to PhD students in their final year of studies who have performed outstanding research during their PhD studies in ACMS.
