Christina Mack

Adjunct Professor of the Practice

Dr. Christina Mack is the Chief Scientific Officer of Real World Solutions at IQVIA, an S&P 500 company with global operations in over 100 countries. She is responsible for driving scientific and technical innovation that has a direct impact improving patient health, and leads the IQVIA Surveillance and Agile Analytics Team, which partners with global health organizations, biopharmaceutical companies and elite sports leagues such as the NFL and NBA to prevent disease, reduce injuries and improve population health and safety. Her research has been published broadly in top journals including the CDC’s Mortality and Morbidity Weekly Report, JAMA, American Journal of Sports Medicine, and Annals of Internal Medicine.

 

Dr. Mack is a graduate of Notre Dame in Computer Science Engineering and holds an MSPH/PhD in Epidemiology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In addition to her role on the ND faculty, she is an Adjunct Associate Professor of Epidemiology in the Gillings School of Global Public Health at UNC-Chapel Hill. She serves as a board member and advisor for numerous policy, academic and private organizations on topics that include research methods, product effectiveness, data science, global health and disease prevention.  She has been recognized by the Healthcare Business Woman’s Association and the Professional Football Athletic Trainers Society for her leadership, and is a mentor for the World Economic Forum Global Shapers “Transformative Role of Women and Girls” initiative.
