Global Non-Gaussian Stochastic Partial Differential Equation Models for Assessing Future Health of Ecohydrologic Systems

The goal of the project is to develop methods for monitoring global dynamical data monitored at high temporal resolution (daily or sub-daily) in order to assess the risk of floods and droughts in sensitive areas. The focus of the project will be in the use of non-Gaussian models with a latent process modeled via a Stochastic Partial Differential Equation.
