Newly Admitted Graduate Students
Once admitted into our graduate program, you will receive an Acceptance/Declination of Offer from the University. After processing your acceptance, you will receive a confirmation email. At that time, you will need to:
- Activate your Notre Dame NetID.
- Make housing arrangements on campus, or off-campus.
- Select (or decline) a meal plan.
- Complete the Health History Questionnaire.
- Submit your final transcript showing conferral of all previous post-secondary degrees.
- Inform the ACMS department of your arrival date.
- Additional steps for International students.
- Consult with your program advisor regarding your curriculum.
- Register for your classes (after consulting with your advisor) and complete ND roll call.
When you arrive on campus:
- Visit the ACMS department. For students being paid a stipend or holding a job on campus, you will receive an email from the Office of Human Resources to provide your I-9 information. Note: Federal and state withholding will automatically be set up at the single and 0 withholding rate. Changes to withholding and set up of direct deposit can be made by logging in to inside.nd.edu.)
- Acquire a Student ID Card
- Acquire computer privileges by visiting the Office of Information Technologies (OIT) website.
- Acquire a parking permit
- Attend Graduate School (International students should attend the ISSA orientation) and ACMS orientations.
