The professional specialties in the Master’s of Science in Applied and Computational Mathematics and Statistics (P-MSACMS) trains students to solve complex real-world problems with statistical, mathematical and computational modeling. This intensive 11-month program begins in the summer and combines education in the discipline with training in business fundamentals and project work on practical problems. Our specialty tracks in computational finance, applied and computational mathematics , applied statistics and predictive analytics prepare students to become critical employees in a wide variety of businesses or organizations.
These degrees are offered by the Department of Applied and Computational Mathematics and Statistics, whose faculty solve problems in biology, medicine, finance, engineering and physics.
Now accepting applications for the 2014-2015 academic year. Classes for the 2014-2015 academic year start on June 30, 2014.
